The me that I was yesterday is not the me that I am today. The me that I am today will be gone tomorrow. We are constantly changing, ever-evolving beings, always getting older, living new experiences and forgetting old ones. Through my work, I wanted to explore the idea of change relating to the self, how we paper over parts of our identity to create new ones. The child that I used to be, where is he now? The 16 year old, 18 year old? For that matter, where will the person that I am today be in 10 years? We have this sense of our "self" being this solid, immutable thing, but in reality it is much more intangible and obscure than it appears to us.
